Sopo Kashakashvili - Samaya Girls

Through this series I was interested in how the representation of female figure and gestures has developed over time through paintings, frescos and music. We always assemble a version of perfection and aim to make ourselves into that image. Beauty is always judged through external materiality of bodily forms. How can the female body speak out about their inner sensations and how can gestures show the inner unity?
