Antonio Muratore- Savage for Freedom
Antonio Muratore alias raid was born in Cagliari, Italy in 1980. He received his masters degree in Visual Arts (Contemporary Art Orientation) from the University of Bologna and obtained his bachelor’s degree in New Technologies of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin. After studying at an art high school Foiso Fois in Cagliari he attended the Man Ray photography school.
In 2011 Antonio Muratore won second prize at the National Contest of Art for environment AXA in Milan. In 2012 he was selected by Italian University Miur as one of the 10 finalists at the National Prize of Arts. Since 2007 he has participated in several art exhibitions. His experiences in the field include collaborations as curator at DdA Factory- an association born with the purpose to support contemporary art as well as Digicult, a cultural platform that examines the impact of digital technologies on art and contemporary society. He is also the founder of LoosenArt and currently works as both curator and writer.
