Ashley Bourne- Benedict’s House

Ashley Bourne is a British photographer currently based in Bristol. During his College education Ashley was selected by Magnum photographer Mark Power as the winner of his Black Country Stories competition and was awarded honorary membership to The Royal Photographic Society. After graduating from a Bachelor of Arts degree at Falmouth University, he was labelled amongst 2016's best photography graduates by the British Journal Of Photography and his work has since been featured in places such as The Guardian, CNN Photos and Fisheye Magazine.

Monastic life takes many forms, but life according to the Rule of St Benedict is the oldest of those that have survived to the present day in the western church. Benedict’s House seeks the remarkable beauty of the Benedictine monastery. The houses of God, and those devoted to a spiritual service.
